2011 season at Moama Bowling Club
Welcome to all our visitors from around Australia and from around the world. We look forward to helping you enjoy our bowling and hospitality facilities, unsurpassed along the Murray River region. With international-standard Tiftdwarf greens, our Club is recognised as one of the premier bowling clubs in Australia.
Our reputation for excellence is demonstrated by the many international and national championships held here.

Relax with a drink, lunch or snack as you watch the action on the greens.
Relax into our comfy arm chairs and couches – the perfect place to check out the racing, football and other sports on our giant plasma screens. We provide TAB, Keno, Sky Channel and Fox facilities.
Eating in our Bowls Terrace
This fully licensed undercover area, looking out over three greens, is fabulous for groups wanting to meet together. For a delicious meal, choose one of our barbecue packages or eat in our Bistro.
Seating capacity in the Bowls Terrace is up to 80 and with fans, sun blinds and gas heaters, you will never be too hot or too cold.
Outdoor Social Bowls
At the completion of the 2008 renovations Moama Bowling Club was lucky enough to have constructed a new Outdoor Green Gaudge Carpet Green which replaced the Grass 'Eddy' Green. The green has 6 wonderful rinks in operation on which MBC were fortunate enough to have hosted the 2010 International matches played between Australia and England and then again in 2011 when Australia, England and Scotland played in a tri series. Moama Bowling Club feature three other fantastic Tiftdwarf Grass greens, the Milgate, Rogan, and Clemo greens.
Moama Bowling Club holds three days per week of Outdoor Social Bowls:
- Tuesday Morning - Ladies Social from 10am
- Tuesday Afternoon - Men's Triples from 12:30pm
- Saturday Afternoon - Mixed Social Bowls from 12:30pm
- Saturday Afternoon - Men's Pairs from 12:30pm (ONLY in non-pennant season)
If you wish to play in any Outdoor Social Bowls please call (03) 5481 3780 which is a recorder only. Please note, all Social Bowls that are starting from 10am the entries close at 9am on that day and for all other Social Bowls, names must be in by 11am.

Indoor bowls (short mat) in the Parquetry Lounge
Indoor Bowls events have returned to the Parquetry Lounge. Competitors are able to take advantage of the nearby Sports Lounge.
All Indoor Bowls events and times are below:
- Tuesday Evening - from 6:45pm;
- Thursday Evening - from 6:45pm; and,
- Sunday Evening - from 6:45pm
To play, please call (03) 5481 3763 which is a recorder only. Please note, all indoor bowls names are to be submitted by 5pm on that day.
Free coaching
Our Club has several qualified coaches who are available for free coaching from beginner to advanced. One-on-one individual coaching is available, as well as coaching for larger groups. All Moama members can make appointments with any of the coaches that are listed below:

Junior Bowls
Moama Bowling Club encourages juniors to get involved in bowling. Secondary schools in the district use the Club on a request basis. There are many opportunities to come and try bowls before families go to the expense of getting equipment. Individual juniors are most welcome and can be coached – contact the Bowls Department on FreeCall 1800 806 777 for further details.
Moama Bowling Club now host a Inter-School Challege where Primary Schools from around the district compete against each other for a Perpetual Trophy, Individual medals and a $500 cheque to be given to the winning school. The event is held twice a year, one being in March and the other in November. Schools that have recently participated in the November 2010 Challenge were Deniliquin South, Edward, Echuca 208, Echuca South, Lockington Consolidated, Moama Grammar and Moama Public Primary. The winners for this challenge were Moama Anglican Grammar School and received the prizes.
